Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australian acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

 

MOSSMAN GORGE CULTURAL CENTRE - LIMITED SPACES FOR JULY

Operating four (4) tours per day, the 1.5 hour guided Dreamtime walk is proving popular during the school holidays. There are limited FIT spots available, unfortunately we cannot take any further groups for July on the Dreamtime walk or the smoking ceremony, but are looking forward to welcoming new groups again from August. Existing bookings are not affected and will be honoured.

 

SAILS IN THE DESERT BEDDING CONFIGURATION

  • Bedding configuration for the Deluxe Suites at Sails in the Desert has been adjusted to a maximum of two persons in a Deluxe Suite.
  • Interconnecting room options (Deluxe Suite with Superior room) are available on request.
  • An updated room configuration document is available on request.

 

NAIDOC Week

  • NAIDOC week is the premiere celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander History and Culture every year.
  • A number of events will be held in the Douglas Shire and Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre.
  • NAIDOC Church Service will be held at Mossman Gorge at 5pm on 10 July. All are welcome.
  • NAIDOC Markets will be held at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre on 23 July from 10am-2pm. All are welcome.
