Guests will be captivated by Sunrise Journeys, an extraordinary experience opening on August 1st, 2024.

Sunrise Journeys shines a light on three prolific Anangu artists who have collaborated to create a bespoke artwork that depicts their deep connection to culture and Country.

Before the glowing silhouettes of Uluru and Kata Tjuta are revealed, the artwork is brought to life, utilising the vast desert landscape as a natural canvas.

Following the display, guests will enjoy a hearty breakfast incorporating native flavours with our signature chai tea.

New Product: Australian Native High Tea

For an afternoon delight, guests can indulge their senses with the rich and ancient flavours of Australian Native High Tea.

Guests will enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury petits fours, gourmet tea from our partners, Blak Brews, coffee, and the option of a Bellini or sparkling wine, expertly crafted to showcase the vibrant flavours and unique culinary heritage of Australia.

Available daily from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, commencing 1 August 2024.

Wintjiri Wiru: Multilingual Translation Now Available

Great news for international visitors, guests can now enjoy in-language Wintjiri Wiru narration using tailor-made translations through our partner, Vox. Languages include Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, French and German. Please advise your client to request a headset from an Ayers Rock Resort team member on arrival at the Wintjiri Wiru deck if they would like to receive translation in one of these six languages.

Wintjiri Wiru, which in the local Pitjantjatjara language of the Anangu means 'beautiful view out to the horizon,' is a breathtaking sound and light show that brings to life a chapter of the ancestral Mala story, an Anangu story which has been passed on for thousands of generations. Ground-breaking technology including drones, lasers and projections illuminate the night sky in traditional ceremonial music and language bring the Mala story to life.

Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre - NITA Graduation

A new contingent of Indigenous hospitality stars has been snapped by up Queensland tourism businesses as they graduate the National Indigenous Training Academy's (NITA) program at Voyages' Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre in Tropical North Queensland.

The 2024 NITA graduation took place at Hughie's in Mossman on Saturday 8 June, with Douglas Shire Mayor Lisa Scomazzon, Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre General Manager Rachael Hodges, and Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre trainees, graduates, and their families attending.

Graduates each completed a nationally accredited Certificate III in Hospitality, which included work placements at luxury resorts in Port Douglas, and Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre. Many graduates have gone on to receive job offers from their placement companies, including Aaliyah Nandy at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre, Yavaleagh Paii at Ramada Resort, and Lindsay Callope at Niramya Villas and Spa, Port Douglas.

Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre is a world-class ecotourism destination and gateway to the Daintree Rainforest. Its Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk - a guided rainforest walk connecting visitors to local Kuku Yalanji culture - is a renowned "must do" for visitors to Tropical North Queensland.

Best Regards,
